Bowling Green, KY, 440 Main

Bam! Just like that, we hit the south. Kentucky is sort of borderline, the north still feels Midwestern. WV has its own feel, sort of southy, but not the south.

Bowling Green is the unambiguous south.

The green in Bowling Green is a hangout, at least when we were there. Live music was playing, the restaurants were bustling. We ate at a place called 440 Main.

A local specialty, derby pie. It is basically a chocolate pecan pie.

We wandered the green after dinner.
