Despite the rural character, WV has a pretty good food scene. The Capitol Market reminded me of The Ferry Building in San Francisco.
I really wanted to try a regional vegetable called a "ramp", which has been described to me as the love child of an onion and garlic. Unfortunately they were out of season, so ramp mustard will have to do.
They all ain't gems.... N tried out this WV delicacy, and was less than impressed.
