Yes ladies and gentlemen, the moment you have been waiting for is here. Upon crossing the border to Oklahoma, I will have been to each of the contiguous 48 states, excluding Alaska and Hawaii (not all on this trip, just through my life).
Here I am before the crossing, looking so young and innocent, reflecting upon the enormity of what was about to happen.
