Dearborn, MI, The Henry Ford Museum

We couldn't bring the kids to the Detroit area and not see something car related. They are too young to visit a factory, so we visited The Henry Ford Museum.

There is an admirable section on civil rights and women's sufferage, but I couldn't help but think that this was an attempt to soften Ford's own involvement with racist and anti-semetic causes (which the museum never addressed)

Here is the Rosa Parks bus.

A prison symbolizing the imprisonment of suffrage proponent protesters.

This display needs no introduction.
